Modeling and Simulation:

Our engineers and analysts are experts in leveraging modeling and simulation tools to solve our nation’s most complicated problems. We have expertise in developing and using models representing a wide variety of flight and space systems, in application areas including missile defense, space defense, offensive strike, technology maturation, and threat systems. Our staff understands how to design models at the appropriate level of fidelity and resolution to provide answers to decision-makers.

Guidance Navigation and Control Development:

We have guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) experts who have developed advanced solutions for a range of applications, including hypersonic gliders and kill vehicles. One of our specialties is implementing conventional and high-order sliding mode control, which is ideal for problems involving high uncertainty that require robust performance.

Data Analysis and Assessment:

Concordia has highly skilled staff capable of processing and analyzing data to extract key insights. Our personnel have played key roles in assessing comprehensive Missile Defense System performance using data collected from flight and simulated test activities. We have also performed scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) analysis to support intelligence assessments and the development of tailored threat models. We know how to approach data analysis and assessment problems with the learning objectives in mind, producing products that succinctly explain trends and observations.

Test Design & Evaluation

Architecture design and evaluation:

Concordia staff has made significant contributions to the architectural design and evaluation of missile systems. Our staff has assisted in recommending appropriate values for requirements for systems early in their design phase through use of their strong modeling and analytical skills.

In addition, our personnel also have experience evaluating fielded missile systems and have recommended changes that were accepted and fielded by DOD.

Test Design and Planning:

Concordia staff has extensive experience performing test design and planning for complex system test events. Our staff has developed test designs and requirements for missile defense targets, flight tests, ground tests, and digital test events ranging in complexity from single target, single sensor tests to multiple shooters, multiple target test events such as the Flight Test Operational series of events conducted by missile defense systems. Our staff understands the complex interactions between sensors, fire control, interceptors, truth data collection sensors, telemetry systems, range safety, and target missiles enabling innovative solutions to solve the most challenging and constrained test design challenges.

Unmanned Ariel Vehicle Design and Integration:

Our Team has a wide range of experience across the industry, giving Concordia a distinct understanding of systems engineering and integration. This experience includes the development of flight hardware, space hardware, unmanned ground and aerial vehicles, sensor systems, and expeditionary equipment.

Sensor Design & Evaluation

Tactical Sensors:

Concordia staff has extensive experience in the requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of tactical radar systems. Additionally, Concordia's sensor expertise includes the design and development of accredited radar models and simulations.

Hardware design and integration for space-based sensors:

Concordia’s Hardware design and integration team is made up of multidiscipline engineers with expertise in hardware design, structural analysis, analytical modeling, systems engineering and integration, and manufacturing. This team is tasked with solving complex problems with new and innovative ideas to bring our customers the best possible solution.
